10-day celebration of French cuisine and lifestyle that will be taking place throughout the United States from Sept. 19, leading up to Le Taste of France Show in New York ending on Sunday, Sept. 30. This national French Lifestyle campaign is in honor of “La Fête de la Gastronomie” in France.

EVERYONE – individuals, restaurants and businesses looking to celebrate French cuisine and lifestyle.
How many events can I organize?
As many as you want – on Monday you can featured a private event, on Wednesday a special prix-fix and on Friday a demonstration. This is the opportunity for you to open the doors of your establishment and share with other French products lovers!
How to participate?
Fill up the application and once approved, your event will be listed on our website – in one of the different categories: Restaurants, Drinks; Picnics; Desserts; Fashion; Beauty; Kids; Sports and Arts.
What do I get?
- You will be part of the first national campaign promoting French products and Lifestyle across the United States, leading up to Le Taste of France Show in New York – a 25,000 square feet 2-days event starting Sept. 29 and ending Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. – Your event(s) will be listed on our website (www.letasteoffrancetour.com) and will benefit from our global social medias community. – Our communication campaign will reach all the majors online and print medias already received media coverage in United States, France, Canada and Belgium – more to come. – New Yorkers will be offered a French Passport, available at select locations throughout the city, which will act as a guidebook to all Le Taste of France Tour sanctioned events and participants. Passport holders will received savings and prizes at Le Taste of France Show (September 29-30, 2012 – Pier 54)
How much it will cost to participate?
- FREE for individuals – $300 for restaurants and companies and discounts apply when you organize more than one event. (75% of the money collected will be given back to our charity partner, Action Against Hunger). Le Taste of France Tour will benefit Action Against Hunger, a global humanitarian organization founded in France committed to ending world hunger. 75% of the money raised will go directly to the humanitarian organization.
Who organize this?
Organized by le French Media Events Group was founded in 2009; this non-government organization promotes French culture in New York (www.frenchmediaevents.com) in partnership with Les Maitres Cuisiniers de France (Master Chefs of France), l’Académie Culinaire de France and d’Artagnan. Le Taste of France is under the high patronage of the Consul General of France in New York, Mr Philippe Lalliot and is supported by the French Trade commission in the United States – Ubifrance.
